I am new to paper models but was intrigued by your model of The Betty.  Are there any tutorials on how to assemble this models including which adhesives and paper types to use?  Any help or guidance would really be appreciated.

Hi, this model comes with instructions, just follow it step by step. You can use 160g paper, and 120g for some small parts. Any paper or wood glue (white thinned liquid) will work. Also this model requires some reinforcement, you should laminate most exposed parts which will carry the weight of the model, you can use thin double sided carpet tape and cardboard for this. Try to visit paper modelers sites and forums for all kinds of tricks and tips you could use. The Betty is relatively easy model for a skilled modeler, but some parts as arms hydraulics or wings could be tricky. Even if something goes wrong, you can always print it again. Good luck! ;)

Thanks a lot for this! I always felt Alien Resurrection a little bit underrated when it comes to papercraft...

I'm glad you like it. There is not enough models from Alien universe, except those made by Jan Rukr, so the Betty was my choice no.1.   Your ship looks great, precise and clean work, only one thing comes to my mind, that cone over the cockpit looks to be glued upside-down, since that shadowed area should be around the cockpit connection. Well, it's part of my fault, because there are no textures in the instructions folder. Anyway, it is just a cosmetic problem, only visible to me, nobody else! ;) Thanks a lot for your post!

Well, thanks to you for the reply! I knew after gluing that the parts were somewhat upside down, but I simply couldn't wait putting the two together... Nearly all went perfectly well, thanks to your great design.
I know Jan's models quite well, but took a break from the Sulaco for the Betty. Felt it was somewhat nearer to me.
Do you plan to release any more Resurrection models anytime soon? Couldn't wait to get my hands on the Auriga...
Thanks for your words, always a pleasure to please the designer!
